Teachers will learn from students in this session. Students from YES (Young Ethnic Scholars) will help teachers understand the impact of microagressions and how to address them in the school and classroom. How can you better support students when they feel marginalized? How can you talk about these microaggressions? How can you build better relationships with students and create a positive classroom climate? Through skits, student presentations and discussions, you will gain practical techniques that can be used to support all students.
