Art + Robots: Accessible STEM Experiences for All Students

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

When we integrate programming and the opportunity for ALL students to express themselves using art, we start achieving more equity. Programming and art will allow your students to practice the 21st Century skills of collaborating, communicating, creating, risk-taking and critical thinking. The possibilities for how this can integrate into your curriculum are endless... Students can program the robots to draw letters, numbers, create angles and shapes. As they progress, they can program the robots to draw scenes in a story and even videotape their robot performing tasks. Join us for a very hands-on workshop where you will get to work with two different kinds of robots. You will be using simple block coding to get our Dash Robots to draw simple line pictures in different colors, experimenting with shape and layering. You will also be giving our Ozobots commands using different color codes. No programming or art experience needed. Come experience all the possibilities for maing art with robots!
